Meet the Team

Robert Roth, Chairman

Executive with Compaq Computer Company and Hewlett Packard. Served twelve years as a commissioned officer in the US Navy and earned Naval Flight Officer Wings in the E-2C Hawkeye.  Flew 50 combat missions in Operation Desert Storm from USS Ranger as a Mission Commander and a Strike Lead.  Mr. Roth is responsible for strategic and tactical direction of the Company as well as sales and marketing efforts.

 

 

 

 


 

Tony Merschdorf, Program Director

Served 9 years in the Air Force planning and engineering communications/computer systems for several bases and installations. Earned an MBA from Regis university while serving in the Air Force. Spent ten years with Hewlett Packard as a systems engineer, technical sales and customer support engineer and test lab manager.  Active in the community; volunteering with children who have been victims of domestic violence and helping with wildfire reclamation. Currently responsible for coordination of customer projects and strategic direction of future technology, product development and industry partnerships. 

 

 

 


John Wall, Operations Manager

Born and raised in Texas. Worked first as a ranch hand and as a laborer, heavy machinery and crane operator. Spent 8 and a half years in the US Army in South Korea, Iraq and Afghanistan. Medically discharged due to injuries sustained in Iraq. Military Liaison for Lifequest Transitions after the Army, a non-profit organization. John has found his place with Access Energy Solutions. He continues to serve veterans, working with Team River Runners, a non-profit.  John began with lighting analysis and has helped grow our process to become the Operations Manager. John is currently responsible for daily operations, coordination of customer proposals and LED selection, interfacing with customers regarding details of their projects, coordinating LED conversions and sales to distributors and he supervises calculation of rebates for LED conversions.

 

 


Dan Smith, Technical Manager

Ten years in the Naval Nuclear Power Program, qualified power plant operator and instructor of power plant operations at the Knolls Atomic Power laboratory. After leaving the Navy, owned his own business doing electronic monitoring and communications equipment installation, maintenance and repairs for 10 years. Avid student of physics and the natural sciences. Dan is in charge of making sure all of the technical aspects of the business are operating as they should.

 

 

 

 


Gregor Mueller: Quality Assurance Manager 

Over 25 years’ experience in electronics, telecommunications, and computer industry providing technical support, quality assurance, and troubleshooting. Former technical manager in communication electronics, recognized for technical troubleshooting skills used to rapidly and cost-effectively resolve challenging technical issues. Gregor is responsible for quality control, testing, and evaluating all products Access Energy Solutions sells.

 

 

 

 


Doug Snider, Project Coordinator

Doug is an extreme sports enthusiast and moved to Colorado to indulge in the many extreme sports opportunities available in the region. Born in Georgia into a utility locate engineer family, he spent 15 years learning, working and troubleshooting all utilities for regional and nationwide utility companies to include AT&T, Comcast, Windstream Telecommunications and Georgia Power. His expertise in energy, electricity and utility function enables him to coordinate, manage and complete lighting projects from the end user sale to the total installation and retrofit of a business. Doug started working for Access Energy Solutions as an installation laborer, was promoted to the position of Site Supervisor and Lead Lighting Analyst, to then be further promoted within the company to include his current role of Project Coordinator.

 Carm Moceri, Principal

Carm Moceri has spent more than 30 years in the health care industry, serving in a variety of senior leadership positions. A nurse by training, in 1989 he received a master’s degree in health services management and policy from the University of Michigan. As a Fellow of the American College of Health Care Executives (F.AC.H.E.), he has served in a leadership capacity in several health systems in Michigan (Detroit Medical Center), Missouri (BJC Healthcare and SSM Healthcare) and Colorado (Memorial Health System), established a healthcare consulting practice in 2007 designed to aid health systems in preparation for industry changes and in June of 2014, joined Access Energy Solutions as a Principal to aid in growing the health care division.

 

 

 

 


Carl Deddens, CEO

Experienced executive who has held Chief Executive Officer positions with companies in the consumer electronics, steel, injection molding and heavy equipment manufacturing industries.  Has extensive experience in sourcing and factory operations in China and Taiwan, as well as in finance.  Former senior officer at public companies including Honeywell and Revlon.  Mr. Deddens is responsible for operations, sales and marketing, sourcing, finance and general administration.
